You know that feeling when you haven't watched something in a while, and then when you do you immediately become obsessed with it? Well, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles did that to me, and I can't remember why ... oh yeah! I saw some awesome Turtle art on here, and I started watching the 1987 cartoon, as well as watching the first movie on video, the second movie on YouTube, and TMNT was burned on to a spare disc ages ago for me, but I really would like all the films on DVD

So yeah, that's what's going on with me lol.

Nah, it's been a while since I wrote anything, but I'm not sure what to say. Every time I come on to DA it's usually just to look at art I still have quite a few messages to look at

Well, on 28th June I turned 18 But unlike everyone else, I don't drink, so there was no alcohol involved I had a nice week though (yeah, it spread out THAT far), and I've only just started eating the chocolate I got, which is so tasty!

As for my last journal (being accepted to York), I'm afraid to say that I can't go Because of financial circumstances and lack of employment (can you believe I've applied for at least 20 jobs and I only heard back from 1!) I won't be able to go So I'm gutted. I've sent an application to Newcastle, but I'm not very hyped up as I was with York, but I don't really have much choice (well I do, but it doesn't feel like I do). I have lack of the support at home, and it's hard to know my partner is going to York and I'm gonna miss him like hell

Oh, speaking of, we've been going out for three years, Friday passed

Hmm, what else ... anyone else got Spotify? It's cool I've found some awesome songs I haven't heard in ages! Though it lacks good bands also Shame. I've got Less Than Jake on at the moment, but the list is on shuffle, so who knows what will be on next

Uh, bad news, going to a funeral tomorrow. A friend of mine died and I found out so out of the blue I was in shock. RIP James

Good news, I am so desperate to make a TMNT costume I've had some advice from who done an awesome costume for Leonardo (I want to be Michelangelo ) Hmm, I guess that's not really good news lol. It'd be more good news if I had actually made it, and then had a purpose for it. For my birthday I wanted to have a Superhero/Villian themed day, but I lacked the courage to organise such a thing

Hopefully someone will take the hint and either help me, or do it themselves

Oh! I got 2 boxsets of Fullmetal Alchemist for my birthday I forgot how awesome it was And it's so much better seeing it on the TV rather than the internet. I'm desperate to watch Death Note again though. I remember watching the last episode, and I bawled like a baby!

I've been playing Pokemon Emerald and Final Fantasy IX too lately They're so fun, but levelling up can be a bit of a bummer Though, I've found (or discovered from someone else) a way to level up the characters a good bit early on in the game Ha! Take that, Grand Dragons

Is anyone watching School Of Rock tonight? Channel 4 at 8:00

Heh, not actual food no, it's a nickname Lorne gave Angel in the series 'Angel'.

I'm mentioning it because early this morning (about 3:15) I got a text from my friend who works late night to early morning shifts. And she said:

Did you hear? The actor who played Lorne in Angel has died aged just 33. He had heart disease.

And I'm absolutely gutted.

He was such a talented man, and his character was probably my favourite character (alongside Angel). His voice was INCREDIBLE and me and my brother loved watching him portray such an awesome and memorable character.

I checked the Wikipedia page and it said:

After a five-year battle with heart disease and at least three additional hospitalizations, Hallett died on March 29, 2009 at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, with his father Dave Hallett by his side.

So sad when great actors die. Rest in peace, Andy Hallet.
